About Wisdomira
A new star, guided by an old light.
Wisdom + Mira: wisdom that makes things wonderful.
Our story
Mira is Latin for “wonderful”. It is also the name of a real star. In 1596 an astronomer noticed a star in the constellation Cetus that vanished from the sky and, months later, returned. Generations later it was named Mira: the Wonderful.
Mira taught an old lesson in a new way: light that seems lost can return brighter, if you understand the pattern behind it.
Wisdomira is built on that lesson. We believe the hardest problems aren’t solved by knowledge alone, or by bold ideas alone, but by the two together: the wisdom to understand what is really happening, and the wonder to imagine what could happen next.
In electric motor engineering, that means understanding the physics deeply and still being curious enough to find a better design, then carrying it all the way through to a complete, tested product.
The mark
Our mark draws the two ideas together: a W made of five star nodes, both a constellation and a network, with the Mira star rising above it, inside the outline of a globe. A W-shaped constellation, Cassiopeia, is visible from much of the world: a fitting sign for an international company.
Four principles
1. Understand before you invent
Real innovation starts with a deep understanding of the problem, the people and the physics. Wisdom comes first.
2. Keep the wonder
Curiosity is a professional skill. The moment something stops being interesting is the moment you stop improving it.
3. Courage in the dark
Like Mira fading and returning, good work goes through cycles. Setbacks are part of the pattern, not the end of the story.
4. Light that reaches everyone
Knowledge is most valuable when it is shared and useful across borders.
Our name
Wisdomira is pronounced WIZ-dum-MEER-uh: “wisdom” + “Mira”, with the main stress on MEER.
